Destination: Eorzea Cafe

Destination: Eorzea Cafe

Hey Everyone,

I am here to talk about an interesting place that I am planning to visit during my trip in Tokyo, Japan. Eorzea Cafe, seen in the video above by Subtokyo, has sparked my attention ever since I first heard about it in 2014. This is not Artnia by the way, it is Eorzea which is much different and more highly decorated with fans in mind. Artnia is cool too, but they didn’t let me in on their soft launch for Square-Enix members because my Square-Enix membership was from the US and not Japan. Oh no, I am not bitter… I am just going to post how the front door looked like since they didn’t let me inside even though I traveled 5,000 miles to visit this place:
Anyways, for those who are not familiar with Eorzea, it is based off of Square-Enix’s latest MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV.

Final Fantasy XIV has a soft spot in my heart despite piercing it to death with the first release. This game pretty much dismantled DREAMPIECE’s hopes of ever playing a MMORPG together in the scale of World of Warcraft. We were so eager and blind by our “fanboyism” of Final Fantasy that we totally did not see the bomb drop. Look at how peaceful we were unknowingly playing through what could be known as the worst Final Fantasy title ever:

Fast forward to July 31st, 2014 and after a successful re-release of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, we were gifted with Eorzea Cafe. Eorzea Cafe’s food menu and drink menu are very impressive, although I have yet to hear much about the tastes. The presentation is just great and knowing Japan, they will not fail on presentation especially at such a high caliber named location. Below is a sample page of the menu:
My goal is to get that awesome Moogle Brick Toast dessert! Ever since Final Fantasy III(or VI in Japan), I have been a fan of Moogles especially Mog so it will be the first on my list of must tries!

For more information on where this wondrous place is and what they have to offer check out their main website located here. If anyone has been here, what are your thought and what did you try? Share them in the comments below!
